Our New & Improved Site

We have introduced some improvements to this site including the introduction of a Gallery and forums for the discussion of coastal rowing. They are still a work in progress so please be patient whilst we work on them.

We will be adding a comprehensive selection of pictures from this years All-Ireland along with pictures from past All-Irelands. If you have any pictures which you think would be of interest to fellow coastal rowing enthusiasts and you would like them displayed, please send them to us.

Similarly, if you have any news or events you would like publicised, send it to us and we will do our best to post it on this site.

Coastal communities right around the coast of Ireland enjoy the benefits brought about by Coastal Rowing. The sport is particularly strong in  counties Cork and Kerry but is also particularly enjoyed in counties Antrim, Dublin, Wexford and Wicklow. Coastal Rowing caters for  all ages from under the 12s upto Veterans (over 45s) with both male and female competitors being equally catered for  Small Rural Coastal Towns and Villiages benefit particularly well from this sport where in many of these communities rowing is the main pastime of the youth of those localities.
The Irish Coastal Rowing Federation aims to develop the sport across Ireland, with a strategy of sound based training and physical wellbeing under properly trained coaches.
